How to save a job to your CareerOS account

If you have finally found a job opportunity you fell in love with, we are going to show you how to save it to CareerOS. You have two different ways to save a job: manually, inside CareerOS or using our Chrome Extension. We will guide you through both ways in this article!

But first... Why saving a job to CareerOS?

Saving a job to CareerOS is really important, as the idea is to have your whole job search journey inside the app. That way, you will have everything super organized and will be able to see at a glance to how many companies you applied, which companies you are networking with, which companies you want to apply to...

How to save a job from LinkedIn or other job boards

If you are scrolling around LinkedIn and find a job opportunity you LOVE (-or in other job boards). We are going to show you how to save it to CareerOS.

1. Go to the job offer page
2. Click on the icon of the CareerOS Chrome Extension (read this article if you haven't installed it yet) or the button "Save to CareerOS" if you are using LinkedIn

3. Add an application deadline
4. Done! The job will be saved to CareerOS and you will be able to see it when you click on the company's page.

How to save a job manually

This is a way to save jobs in case you found them on a platform where you can't use CareerOS Chrome Extension.

1. Go to the company page. If the company isn't in CareerOS or you haven't saved it yet, read the article of how to save a company.
2. Click on the "Jobs" tab inside the company page.
3. Click on "Create job manually"
4. Write the job offer details and click on "save"
5. Done! ;)
