How to connect your email inbox to CareerOS

Connecting your email inbox to CareerOS can be extremely helpful for you, as with it, you will be able to send emails to your contacts inside the app.

Why sending emails?

Because it's proven that, if you contact a person through at least 2 different ways, there's a 60% higher chance of this person to actually come back to you. And actually, email has a 35% higher response rate than LinkedIn.

How do we get contacts' emails? 

With CareerOS, you will have access to some LinkedIn Premium features, such as being able to access some people's emails. We have the email of 90% of contacts.

How do I connect my email inbox? 

Really easy!  Here are the instructions:

1. Log into CareerOS under https://app.thecareeros.com/
‍2. Head to your profile https://app.thecareeros.com/app/profile
‍3. Click on the button "Connect your Inbox" in the section "Email Settings"
4. Select "Microsoft Outlook" or "Gmail" in the overlay, depending on the provider of your university email
5. You will be redirected to the Microsoft or Google Login page, where you use your school credentials
6. Your inbox is now connected and you can send emails from our CareerOS inbox https://app.thecareeros.com/app/inbox

‍7. Fun fact: You can also connect your private email account, as long as it is either a gmail or outlook account ;)
